HONOLULU (HI Now) - For the fourth year in a row, Santa will be at the Windward Wonderland sponsored by Hickam Federal Credit Union in Windward Mall’s Center Court every weekend until Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (until 6 p.m. on Sundays). Santa will take a short break to feed his reindeer from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. A $25 Santa photo package includes two 4x6 prints and a digital download to instantly share to social media or print later.
The community is invited to bring their furry friends to Pet Pics with Santa on Sundays, Dec. 1, 8, 15, and 22. Pets need to be kept in a carrier or on a leash and should not linger around the Center after photos are being taken.
While Santa usually leaves his home in the North Pole every year, Windward Mall’s Santa gets a 3,000-mile head start. Played by Isak Soerra, the center’s Santa is a native of Norway who has come to Hawai’i this holiday season to play Santa for the third time. He lives on Meloya, a tiny island off Norway’s west coast, about 1,700 miles from the North Pole.
Every year, Soerra meets with more than 5,000 local keiki, posing for photos with them, hearing their stories, and wish lists. It seems to provide a moment where everyone can express their emotions and that can be overwhelming for Soerra. As a close friend of Storybook Entertainment owners, Casey and Johnny Fortuno, Soerra is always excited to be back in Hawai’i to make Christmas special for keiki in the community.
The whole ‘ohana is invited to enjoy an interactive sing-along Flurry and Snow Show by Storybook Station! Enjoy all your favorite holiday songs and special guests in Center Court on Saturday, December 14 and Tuesday, December 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

From Monday, Dec. 9, to Thursday, Dec. 19, enjoy Happy Shopping Hours at Windward Mall!
